The Nigerian National Football team is made of the Nigerian Super Eagles who are the official National football team representing Nigeria at the International Level, the Super Falcons who are Nigeria National women’s Football Team, the Golden Eaglets who are the Nigeria National under seventeen team and the Flying Eagles who are the Nigeria under twenty National Football team.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria is the National team of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, representing Nigeria In all International football competition such as The World Cup, African Cup Of Nations and friendly matches. The Nigeria National Football team which includes the Super Eagles, The Golden Eaglet, The Super Falcons and the flying Eagles are all controlled by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF). The Nigeria Football Federation is the football governing body responsible for managing the affairs of all the Nigeria National football teams.

The Nigeria National team in different capacity have proved that indeed they are a force to reckon with in Africa and the world in general.

In Nigeria staying abreast of the latest National Football news is a necessity this is largely due to the huge love and support football has received over the years making it the most popular sports in the country.

The Super Eagles have been impressive since their first appearance at the World cup in 1994 and have only missed out of the competition in Germany 2006. In addition, the Super Eagles have won the African cup of Nations three times.

The Golden Eaglet, on the other hand, are not left out after winning the Under 17 World Cup five times making them the first team to achieve this feat.

The year 2018 has really been an amazing year in the Nigeria National Football as it saw Nigeria Super Falcons beating other African Women Football team to win the 2018 African Women’s cup of Nations and also qualifying for the France 2019 Women’s world cup tournament. However, Ngozi Okobi one of the players that saw Nigeria to the Finals of the 2018 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Ghana has expressed readiness and calls for enough friendly matches for the Nigerian women Football team in preparations for the Women’s world cup in France.

The Nigeria National team have proved themselves over the years to be one of the best team in Africa and the world in general.
